A few images from this year’s wrestling championships that took place in Billings, Montana.
We were doing a little beta-test to judge the viability of our distribution network and what kind of demand that weekly publications might have for the images.
I wasn’t trying to make prize winning images here. Part of the goal was to make “useful” images… as much as I hate to admit it. Useful has never been my goal, but a test is a test.
By useful I mean something that a local publication might want to publish. Basically, two faces and no butts, and more faces equals more ink.
This is a good example. I’m not sure if this one got printed or not, with the wrestler getting injured and whatnot.
I doubt this one, lacking faces, got published either.
The idea was to put together a package with better action shots of their hometown athletes than these publications normal had access to.
Some scene setters that would work in their overall coverage of the tournament.
Plenty of action… everybody needed their hometown heroes.
Jubilation.
More jubilation.
And even more jubilation.
We got pretty good play for our first go ‘round. More tests to come.
