I am a fan... I bleed Husker Red. I know that times have been tough, but I've never lost faith even when it hurts the most. I wear my Husker jersey every game day... I put my Husker flag out every game day... I wear all red every game day... because I believe and have faith. One day again we'll be feared like the ol' good days. Until then, I will wake up every game day and support the players and coaches who are trying to get a win. I will use my Husker brick like I did back when Nebraska was a power house. I'll wear my corn head like I did when Nebraska ran over their opponents. I believe and will always believe. They are coming back and it will be amazing. I love the Huskers and I bleed Husker Red!

Coaching personalities don't matter. NU needs to keep CU off the field, otherwise it's going to be a track meet all day long. How? Run the ball and play keep away from CU. But they won't be able to do that because there is NO PIPELINE of YESTERYEAR. The OL can't control the line of scrimmage and consistently go on long scoring drives. As a result, the D is on the field too long and can't hold late in games cause they are gassed. Add in the PLUS TURNOVERS that NU will end up with AND ITS ANOTHER LOSS. Predicted 0-2 to start and sticking with it. Northern ILL will make it 0-3. This isn't about me not being a "fan". I'm a NU graduate 3 times over. But, I'm a realist. BUFFS WIN!

You may be right, but if NU can't run against CU, it will ultimately be on Sims, and not the O-line. Why? Because CU is going to put 8-9 in the box and dare NU and Sims to throw it. If he does so with success, NU will be able to run the ball just as well as TCU did, and then some. The interior of the D-line for CU is soft and not that good. People are making crazy assertions based off of one game. We don't know enough about any team to make any kind of immediate predictions. I mean, hell, TCU might just stink or end up being a .500 team this year!

Past performance is a predictor of future results. I've seen what seems like a decade of the NU QB taking off and running. Why? The OL can't protect long enough for the plays to set up. It's only a matter of time before QB gets hurt. Wasn't it the last CU game in Boulder where the NU QB got injured and kept on playing? He wasn't the same after. It is going to be a LONG day for NU.

We'll see, won't we? I think you are a poser, not an NU fan, but a freaking TROLL!

Sorry, dude. Nebraska fans DO NOT cheer for Colorado. EVER. That is as ridiculous as a Michigan fan cheering for Ohio State. Go back to your cows.

PS

Is buffoon the only negative descriptive word you know? Who told you could write?

I will never always support my husker! I have been a fan for over 50yrs and yes i have seen the good games as well as the bad games but i will never stop watching the team who i love to watch play each and every year!!! If you love and support the huskers like so many people say they do i never under stood how and why they would say such bad things about your team especially with the first game of the season and with a new coaching staff!! I wish people would look at how much better the defense played and yes the offense made some mistakes but i really feel that the players will get better under this new coaching staff. I feel the huskers will beat Colorado and other teams this year and go to a bowl game!!!!! GO BIG RED TILL THE DAY I DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are those people on social media that you are referring to, the same ones that wear tin foil hats and push all the ridiculous conspiracy theories? I think they might just be! At the very least, they share one very important thing, they are vastly in the minority! Nebraska hired the right coach and will win under Rhule. Yes, it's unfortunate that the final five minutes of the first game under Rhule, unfolded in familiar fashion. However, Rhule is not Frost and the roster underwent enough of an overhaul that it's justifiable to proclaim that this is Rhule's team. I believe that will lead to not just a bounce back performance, but one in which the Huskers will finish the right way, if put in a similar situation next Saturday.

The result of the first game was eerily familiar with so many games in the last five years. Stupid penalties at the worst possible times, giving away a lead at the end of the game, no offensive identity, a QB who is really just a talented running back with a strong arm, but unable to check off when his primary receiver is covered, and, of course the coup de gras, turnovers. So you think this will all be fixed by next Saturday? I'd rather wear a tinfoil had than a blindfold.

And your obviously one of the aforementioned conspiracy theorists. Who said anything about EVERYTHING being all fixed by next Saturday? The point was, we don't know how good, or not so good, anyone is after one game. Declaring Colorado as world beaters who we can't possibly compete with after the first week, only serves to prove that you are a glass half empty pessimist. Please, go back to your tin foil hat and the Sci-fi channel and leave the cheering and the fandom to the real fans. And watch out for those vaccine shots, you know they have alien DNA as well as device trackers in them!

You know, you're right. I don't know what I'm talking about. Thanks for straightening me out.

You're welcome!

You throw conspiracy theorist and tin foil hat around with abandon, yet give no indication of what you are really talking about (over the last few years many so-called conspirosy theorists have been proven RIGHT, most aspects of COVID, for instance). You seem to do that so you don’t have to actually think and evaluate the other guys position. Just dismiss it - it’s much easier.

There has literally been nothing "proven" by any conspiracy theorists! People think that if it's on the internet, then it must be true. There are tons of people taking advantage and making a lot of $$$$ of the stupidity of others, who will believe anything they read. If someone could "PROVE" one single thing that gets bandied about concerning the Covid vaccine, they would have already won a Pulitzer Prize!
